The 2013 Annual Chiefs Convention of the Haverstraw Fire Department was held on Thursday April 4, 2013. A slate of delegates from each of the 5 companies met at the Lady Warren Hose Company #5 quarters to elect a Chief Officer and 4 Assistants for the year. Upon assent of the Village Board, the Officers will assume their positions on the 3rd Tuesday in April at 9pm.

General Warren Emergency Company #2 of the Haverstraw Fire Department is conducting its Annual Fund Drive for 2013 at this time. The General Warren Emergency Company #2 is an ALL VOLUNTEER Fire Company located in the Village of Haverstraw, on the corner of Fairmount and Maple Avenue.

This FUND DRIVE will help defray the costs of several yearly obligations including our North Rockland High School Scholarship Program and Membership fees in our Benevolent Organizations.
Our RELIEF FUND, which supports our families in time of need and marks our members’ burials in perpetuity, is also funded exclusively from these donations.

The Haverstraw Fire Department, Rockland County Department 4, consists of a Fire Council of one Chief Officer, four Assistant Chief Officers, and 10 Wardens who administer the Haverstraw Fire Department. Operationally, the Fire Chief and his 4 assistants lead the Department at all non-EMS emergency incidents in the Village of Haverstraw, New York.
